Is it worth the trip?

In about a week and a half, I could test drive the new smart car. I've not seen it in person, but I did put $100 down to reserve me one. But the test drive is 250 miles away. I just don't know if it is worth it. I could simply wait until they have them at the dealership. With gas prices so high, I just don't know if it would be worth the trip. I'll have to post weather I go or not.
